Filet with Butter and Pecan

Pecan nuts giving a special touch of flavor.


1/2 cup chopped walnuts

4 steaks 1 cm thick

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon oil

1/2 cup of cheese

1/4 cup soft unsalted butter

2 tablespoons of whole parsley leaves


Heat the oven to 170 ° C. Place the nuts on a baking sheet and toast around 6 to 8 minutes. Allow to cool completely. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Heat an oven-resistant frying pan in the oven and add the oil, add the steaks turning until both sides are well browned. Transfer the skillet to the oven and cook the steaks with an average temperature of 60 ° C for 5 to 6 minutes. Meanwhile, in a bowl, add the cheese, butter and nuts. Remove the frying pan from the oven and cover the steaks with the nuts, cover with foil and let stand for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley leaves and serve.
