1 ½ cup of oil

2 cups of sugar

4 eggs

3 cups of flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

1 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons of vanilla essence

3 ½ cups of peeled and chopped apples

1 cup chopped walnuts


¾ cup of butter

1 cup brown sugar

¼ cup of milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation mode:

Preheat the oven to 160 ° C Mix the oil, sugar and eggs, beat until creamy, in another container mix the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, add the ingredients and add the vanilla, mixing well.

Add the apples and nuts.

Pour the dough into a large greased and floured central hole. Bake at 160 ° C for approximately 1 hour or when pricking the cake with a fork, it comes out clean.

Roof: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add brown sugar and milk. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring continuously. Remove from heat and add vanilla. Allow to cool slightly, pour over the cake.
