Foods That Look Like Body Parts: Benefits of Each!

Food is our source of life, and each food has many benefits for the human body, some act in certain areas, others in several. But, you can see that some foods have shapes and colors similar to some of our organs. Are these shapes just coincidence or do they have some connection with them??

1) The beans and the kidneys! They are very similar, and in addition, beans help prevent kidney or gallstones, regulate blood pressure and also control diabetes.

2) Nuts and the brain! Very similar to the brain, walnuts help a lot in the proper functioning of the brain as they are rich in fatty acids and omega 3 and 6. They also work by improving memory and preventing neurodegenerative diseases.

3) The carrot and the eyes! The carrot when cut into slices is very similar to the iris of the eyes and not only that... the food helps to prevent diseases such as blindness and cataracts because it is rich in vitamins and antioxidants.

4) Ginger and the stomach! Resembling the shape of the stomach, ginger has phytochemicals making it a great digestive, as well as calming nausea and vomiting.

5) Tomatoes and the heart! Rich in potassium, vitamin B6 and lycopene, tomato acts in several ways: reducing blood pressure, lowering the risk of heart disease and cancer, etc.

6) Orange and the breasts! Oranges are very important in the process of preventing breast cancer, this happens through their natural compounds.

Anyway, many foods that we consume resemble our body and are good for it, so we must have a balanced diet, with different flavors and textures, always with a colorful plate!
