Cabbage salad with candied nuts


1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1 teaspoon mustard

2 tablespoons of olive oil


2 cups black cabbage, chopped

1 apple, washed and cut into matchsticks

½ finely chopped radicchio

¼ cup of candied walnuts

¼ cup of cranberries

3 pieces of bacon, cooked and chopped

In a bowl, mix the balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, mustard and olive oil. Place over chopped cabbage and mix well for a few minutes. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes to become soft. Add the apple, radicchio, walnuts and cranberries. Mix and serve with crumbled bacon on top.
