Pecan Nut Pie

Ingredients

1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

2 cups of wheat flour

2/3 cup powdered sugar

3/4 cup diced butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup honey

2/3 cup butter

3 tablespoons sour cream

Preparation mode:

Bake the pecan nuts in the oven at 170 ° C for 5 to 7 minutes or until lightly toasted. Allow to cool completely.

Beat the flour, sugar and 3/4 cup of butter in the food processor 5 to 6 times or until a homogeneous dough forms. Spread the dough evenly on the bottom and side in a greased form with a removable bottom.

Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 20 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Allow to cool completely.

Bring brown sugar, honey, 2/3 cups of butter and sour cream to a boil over medium-high heat. Add the roasted nuts and place the hot filling on the prepared crust. Bake at 180 ° C for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely. Cut in squares and serve.
